Get Involved By Joining A Team

Volunteers are ambassadors for Streets of Paradise and are expected to present a positive image consistent with our mission at all times. We ask that all volunteers cooperate and treat one another respectfully.

We uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and volunteers may never disclose proprietary information because a misplaced comment can be devastating to an individual that we serve. Any volunteer that breaches confidentiality will be dismissed.

Streets of Paradise is committed to maintaining a respectful environment for our volunteers that is  free of discrimination, which includes avoiding jokes and insensitive comments about another person’s age, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity, race, sex, size, dress and religion. 

We expect our volunteers to avoid a conflict of interest, which may result in a personal gain as a result of their affiliation with Streets of Paradise.

We ask all FoodShare volunteers to wear the gloves provided and tie hair up off the face to assure the highest food handling standards.

Volunteers that are less than 18 years old must have the written permission of a parent or legal guardian.
