You belong here. Whether you have an hour a week or a full day to give, there’s a place for you at Streets of Paradise. We are powered by volunteers — people who believe that everyone deserves dignity, warmth, and the chance to thrive.
When you join us, you become part of something sacred: a community that shows up, loves hard, and never stops fighting for each other.
Where can you serve?
We need all kinds of hands, hearts, and gifts. Explore our teams below to find your place in the work of loveactrepeat:
FoodShare Team: - Sunday Mornings, Weekly
- Cook at home, drop off hot meals, package donations, or join one of our mobile distribution crews serving warm food, cold water, and kind connection directly to people experiencing homelessness.
- Time commitment: Flexible (1–3 hours per week)
Move Teams: - Multiple Days Per Week, Ongoing
- Help us furnish homes for those moving out of homelessness, foster care, disasters, or other life crises. Load, unload, arrange — and witness someone walk into their first real home.
- Roles include: Drivers, lifters, packers, logistics helpers.
- Time commitment: As little as once a month or as often as you’d like.
Furniture Prep + Warehouse Team: - Weekdays & Saturdays, Flexible Hours
- Join the behind-the-scenes magic. Help us clean, sort, and stage furniture and housewares. Turn a warehouse of donations into homes-in-the-making.
- Time commitment: 2–4 hours per shift, flexible scheduling.
Data + Admin Support: - Remote & In-Person Options
- Love organizing, spreadsheets, or getting details just right? You can help us track impact, enter move requests, follow up with donors, and keep the back-end running smoothly.
- Time commitment: 2–5 hours a week, flexible.
Thank You & Love Notes Team: - Remote + In-Person Options
- Help us send heartfelt thank-you letters, cards, and messages to our donors, volunteers, and community partners. If you love writing, crafting, or simply saying “thank you,” this is your space.
- Time commitment: A few hours monthly or as needed.
Event Planning + Hospitality Crew: - As Scheduled
- Join the team that helps us make our community events unforgettable — from volunteer gatherings to drives, fundraisers, art shows, and outreach pop-ups. Help plan, decorate, host, or clean up.
- Time commitment: Project-based, flexible.
Special Projects + Seasonal Help: - On-Call Opportunities
- From hurricane response to holiday drives to one-time projects, we often need quick-response volunteers who can jump in when a need arises. You’ll get on our “ready to serve” list.
- Time commitment: As needed, often short-term or urgent.

- Be kind. Our work is grounded in respect and care — for each other and for those we serve.
- Protect privacy. Confidentiality is essential to building trust.
- Come as you are. All genders, backgrounds, and beliefs are welcome here. We embrace diversity and expect the same of our volunteers.
- Stay safe. If you’re handling food, wear gloves and tie hair back. If you’re lifting furniture, lift with your legs. Safety is love in action.
- Youth volunteers under 18 need written permission from a parent or guardian.
